Your story is well written with your care in spelling, punctuation, correct grammar and creativity. My only suggestion would be sentences don’t normally start with “but’. Again, well done.
I particularly liked your idea of spaceships powered by the stars. There is work being done on the use of solar “wind” to power spacecraft within our Solar System so being powered by the stars might be a future we have. Solar wind is a plasma stream constantly coming from our sun. Great science, Islam.

Light Year – This is the distance light travels in one year. Many think it’s time but it’s distance – about 9,460,730,472,580 kilometres
Our Sun’s centre – It’s thought the centre of our sun might have a temperature of around 15,000,000 degrees so your star would be massively hot. Maybe your small star is a type of white dwarf star but they aren’t that hot so it may be something very different.
