to binmy, from Class 6, whose writing was chosen by a teacher from another school in a different country to be part of the 100 word showcase. This means his 100 word entry was judged one of the best from across the world for that week. Well done! We are so proud of you (and keep up the great writing!)
You can read his entry here
As is the tradition when we leave one year behind and look forward to a new one, we make resolutions. Well, this is not about what you are going to do but what you are hoping for.
Now, that could be something about you or your family or you could be hoping for things for your community or even the world. As Peaky would say, the sky’s the limit! So, the prompt is:
…in 2017 I hope…
It was really exciting to log onto the blog and see comments from all over the world for many of our stories this week, including some of our Board of Governors Members.
For the first time since we have been participating in the 100 word challenge, one of our Year 6 stories has been nominated for the Showcase so we will have to wait to see if it is chosen to be displayed on the website.
We have another segment from a sentence for this week’s challenge. It is:
…as I turned round it changed shape …
Things to think about:
- What is ‘it’?
- What shape should it be?
- What shape did it turn into?
- Why was this happening?
- The form on the 100 word challenge site will close on Saturday 10th December, so your stories need to be finished by Friday so I can upload them in time to be considered for the showcase.
